Kraft Paper Container| Safe Temperatures & Microwave Use Instructions
1. Product Usage Overview
Kraft paper containers are made from food-grade kraft paper combined with a polyethylene (PE) coating. They are designed for serving cold and hot food, takeaway packaging, and short-time food holding applications, but are not intended for baking or high-temperature cooking.

2. Usage Limitations
To ensure safety and product performance, the following applications are strictly not recommended:
- Oven heating
- Open flame heating
- Air fryer use
- Grilling or barbecue equipment
These conditions may cause material degradation or even fire hazards due to high-temperature exposure.

3. Microwave Use Guidelines
Some kraft paper containers are suitable for short-time reheating only.
Recommended conditions:
- Food temperature ≤ 95°C
- Microwave heating time: 2–3 minutes
- Only for short-time reheating use
Not recommended:
- Heating empty containers
- High-fat food long-time heating
- Continuous high-power heating
- Repeated microwave cycles

4. Recommended Temperature Range
|
Application |
Temperature |
|---|---|
|
Frozen storage |
-18°C |
|
Refrigerated storage |
0–8°C |
|
Hot food serving |
≤95°C |
|
Short-term contact limit |
~100°C |
If exposed to temperatures above 95°C for extended periods or high-fat environments, the following may occur:
- Softening of paper structure
- Reduction in PE coating performance
- Container deformation
- Reduced compression strength
- Grease marks may appear
These are normal material behaviors and do not affect food safety.
5. Grease Mark Behavior (Normal Phenomenon)
When used with high-fat foods such as:
- Fried chicken
- French fries
- Roasted meat rice
- Curry rice
- Beef rice
After prolonged contact, slight darkening or translucent marks may appear on the surface.
This is known as Grease Mark / Oil Spot phenomenon, which is a normal characteristic of kraft paper materials and does not affect usability or food safety.

6. Conclusion
